PATTERSON, La. (NEWS 15) — A Carencro man wanted by Lafayette police on drug and other charges was taken into custody after a standoff in Patterson, according to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Lester Broussard, 34, of Carencro, is being held in the St. Mary Parish Jail on warrants for distribution/possession with intent to distribute (Heroin), distribution/possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Hydrocodone), clandestine lab, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, illegal carrying of weapons, illegal possession of stolen things, and obstruction of justice. He is being held without bond.
