Hundreds of family members, relatives, and friends gathered Oct. 10 to celebrate the 90th birthday of Floyd Domingue, former director of administration for Lafayette City Government.
Domingue has a list of accomplishments almost as long as his list of family members. He is known for his time serving as Lafayette’s director of administration, where he was responsible for all City Hall employees. While there, he was instrumental in directing programs and financial moves that helped save the city money. He also worked as a landman and did work for serval companies including Pride Oil and Gas and Texaco.
