Youngsville is set to receive several new dining options in the coming months, with three chain restaurants opening along Milton Avenue and Savoy Road.
Construction began last week on the Swig to be located at 3200 Milton Avenue, which will become the franchise’s second location in Lafayette Parish. Lafayette’s first Swig saw its opening in July in The Forum shopping center along Johnston Street.
The Utah-based restaurant chain is known for serving “dirty sodas,” initially popularized as a coffee alternative for the region’s Mormon population, which eschews hot beverages for religious purposes. The concept allows customers to mix soda with different flavor add-ons for a customizable experience.
