A new license plate reader system is officially live at Moncus Park.
This upgrade is part of a larger transition in preparation for multiple parking exits and two parking lots coming in 2026, according to park officials.
Among the more than 200 annual events at Moncus Park are concerts, art activities and exercise classes, along with the weekly Farmers Market, which attracts more than 2,000 customers each Saturday, and with the park’s growing popularity, parking has been a longstanding concern for visitors.
