As Veterans Day approaches, Acadiana is gearing up with several observances to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. While many events are scheduled for Tuesday, one took place at the Lafayette Visitor Center on Monday. The Lafayette Garden Club hosted a Veterans Day ceremony at the Blue Star Marker on Evangeline Thruway.
