A Lafayette SWAT team is outside a house with a man wanted for armed robbery barricaded inside. The Lafayette Police Department (LPD) reported it is happening on Rosewood Avenue off North University Avenue not far from Willow Street. According to police, officers arrived at the home on Friday, November 14, around 6 p.m. after learning that Trevon Gilbert, 22, was inside. He is wanted by the Scott Police Department for armed robbery.
