GRAND COTEAU, La. (KLFY) — The Grand Coteau Police Department is now under new leadership, with Brad Randell stepping into the role of police chief following the resignation of the department’s previous leader.
Randell, who served on the Grand Coteau Town Council from 2018 to 2022, said he recognized significant issues within the police department and felt compelled to step in to help restore structure and leadership. He will serve one guaranteed year as chief while completing the remainder of the former chief’s term.
