LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — One person was taken to the hospital after a late-morning shooting, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
Police said it happened on Chalmette Drive off NW Evangeline Thruway around 11:15 a.m.
They added the extent of the victim’s injuries is currently unknown…
