ST. LANDRY PARISH, la. (KLFY)– Deputy Kylie Krull has made history in St. Landry Parish by becoming the first female deputy to earn the Expert Marksmanship badge.
Krull transitioned from a corrections officer to a school resource officer earlier this year, where her firearms proficiency quickly became apparent during training.
“It means a lot. It means that I’ve accomplished something,” Krull said. “To me, it seems small. I guess to everybody else it’s big, but it means that my hard work has been paying off.”…
