Juries in two parishes returned guilty verdicts in two separate murder cases last week.
Both cases were prosecuted in the 16th Judicial District, where District Attorney Michael Haik III announced guilty verdicts in the slayings of Brian Gibson Jr. and Nicole Hamilton.
