Wanted man for second degree murder arrested in Kentucky

ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA. (KLFY) — Benjamin Philip Baquet, charged with second degree murder, was arrest in Kentucky, according to authorities.

Benjamin Baquet, 30, was indicted for second-degree murder in the death of an infant in 2017. Doctors ruled the death of the child to be a homicide, stemming from “shaken baby syndrome,” injuries caused by Baquet when the child was just seven weeks old. Baquet’s last known address was in Lumberton, Texas, officials said.

A warrant for his arrest was last issued earlier this week before his recent arrest…
