This Harvard student just became Louisiana’s first Rhodes scholar in a decade

For the first time in a decade, the Pelican State has a Rhodes scholar. It’s the latest in a long list of achievements for Lafayette native Anil Cacodcar.

The Harvard University senior became one of only 32 American students picked for the prestigious honor, and one of only six to come from Harvard. With that honor comes the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study for two years at England’s historic Oxford University.
