More rain Monday pm and soggy at times throughout the week

Behind this initial system, Monday looks to be cooler, cloudier, and quite damp as a new coastal low develops. This system will keep rain chances high, with a continued risk for locally heavy downpours and, again, potential flooding. We’re keeping a close eye on the cumulative rainfall amounts from both systems, as they are expected to be substantial. By midweek, we anticipate a brief lull in the activity as drier, colder air pushes in. However, this quiet period looks to be short-lived, as more rain is expected to move in by Thursday and Friday, continuing the active pattern into the weekend.
