Illuminated chapel, new displays highlight festivities
LARC’s Acadian Village has kicked off its annual 23-night Christmas festival, Noël Acadien au Village, a major December fundraiser supporting LARC, the local 501(c)(3) organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The holiday tradition transforms the village with more than half a million lights, new animated displays, the fully illuminated chapel, live entertainment, carnival rides, local food vendors, photos with Santa and holiday shopping in the Acadian Village General Store. All proceeds from the event go directly to LARC and LARC’s Acadian Village.
Sonic Christmas Parade to roll through Acadiana
The annual Sonic Christmas Parade officially ushers Santa into Lafayette, bringing festive energy to the heart of the city.
