The sister of escaped inmate Gavin Garnica has been booked into the Vermilion Parish jail, records show.
Aliva Garnica, 18, of Lafayette, was booked with simple escape and aggravated escape, records show. She was arrested on Thursday. A spokesperson says her arrest is related to her brother’s escape. He has not been located.
