Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) has issued a Boil Water Advisory for homes and businesses in the areas south of Cameron Street, west of St. John Street, north of St. Landry Street, and east of Brookside Drive. The problem was caused by a broken fire hydrant on Oaklawn Avenue. The Lafayette Parish Water District North (LPWDN) has experienced problems with the water supply system due to a contractor damaging a water line on Hector Connoly Road. A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for customers east of the intersection of Sonnier Road and Hector Connoly Road to the intersection of Hector Conolly Road and Beau Bassin Road, and includes customers along Rue Armand Benard, Bergeron Loop, Alton Lane, and Stanley Road, as well as those customers beginning at the corner of Hector Connoly Road…..
