Lafayette man arrested on animal cruelty charges

A dog has been rescued and a Lafayette man is facing animal cruelty charges, according to the Humane Society of Louisiana. Randy Touchet, 60, is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals (2 counts). His bond is set at $10,000. While Touchet was locked up on unrelated charges, a confidential informant reported that Touchet’s two dogs were left uncared for.
