OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – A new installation of “The Giving Fridge,” provides local residents the opportunity to free freely share food, helping reduce waste and increase access to fresh items for anyone facing food insecurity.
Created and donated by local residents Itzell Camacho and Juan Carlos Cruz, the community fridge is located outside the St. Landry Parish Community Action Food Distribution Center at 1065 La. 749 in Opelousas.
