LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — News 15 has teamed up with Parish Proud and Acadiana Waste Services to enhance the beauty of Acadiana. The initiative, “Clean and Beautiful Acadiana,” aims to improve first impressions of the region, starting with downtown Lafayette.
Kevin Blanchard, CEO of Downtown Lafayette, emphasized the significance of maintaining an attractive city.
“It matters because this is the face that we show the rest of the world. And when folks are coming and visiting here, we have two million visits a year. We’ve got Festival International, Mardi Gras, so it matters what we show other folks,” he said.
