The New Iberia City Council awarded a contract to Minvielle Lumber for continuing improvements to the Louisiana PepperPlex at Tuesday’s meeting.
Architect for the project David Allain said the improvements will continue infrastructure gains for the PepperPlex, including turfing a softball field, building a new office at the entrance of the PepperPlex and adding 180 parking spots.
Parking along the narrow road of the PepperPlex will be phased out as the Queen City extension will be constructed to add more entrance opportunities at the facility, and chainlink fences will also be added for safety…
