Restaurant to open in former Twin Peaks space. Here’s the details.

The building that housed the Twin Peaks restaurant in Lafayette will reopen as a steak and seafood restaurant possibly next spring.

Work is expected to begin on the building at 5801 Johnston St. after applicants were granted a building permit to work on the the 9,000-square-foot building last week by Lafayette Consolidated Government. Work is valued at $50,000, record show.

The restaurant will offer local cuisine, including steaks and seafood, said Beau Polvadore, director of operations for the restaurant group led by Jim Clark, who also owns The Toasted Yolk Café in Lafayette and the Twin Peaks in Baton Rouge…
