ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Sheriff Bobby Guidroz has raised concerns about worsening conditions at the St. Landry Parish Jail, citing improper use of a maintenance tax by parish government.
The $750,000 maintenance tax, collected through a property tax by St. Landry Parish Government, is intended to fund repairs and maintenance for the jail, court annex and trustee dorms.
