Former Lafayette ADA sentenced to 7 years on federal bribery charges

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Former Lafayette Assistant District Attorney Gary Haynes has been sentenced on federal bribery charges in Lafayette this afternoon.

Haynes will serve seven years in federal prison, and pay a $200,000 fine. He was immediately taken into custody.
