LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A strong cold front will push through the area overnight brining showers and thunderstorms and much colder weather. These storms will move through around midnight. Behind the front, temperatures plummet and winds become strong out of the north. Sunday will see sunshine and highs right around 50 degrees. Jackets will be needed all day long.
