Man on the run in Louisiana infant’s ‘shaken baby’ killing captured in KY, authorities say

A Texas man who was indicted in the 2017 killing of an infant in St. Landry Parish was captured in Kentucky after going on the run, St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said Wednesday in a news release.

Benjamin Baquet, 30, was indicted by a grand jury Nov. 21 on a charge of second degree murder of a juvenile under the age of 12.
