Well, that sort of thing happened to yours truly recently.
An Easy Favor Turns Complicated
It’s a simple story. I was kindly asked by my broadcast partner to let his family’s dogs out and feed them while he and his wife were out of town visiting family for the holidays.
Not a difficult task. Theoretically speaking, of course. Just open some doors, let the dogs roam in the fenced yard for a bit, and do their business. Go inside, fill their bowls with food and water. Lock back up, leave, repeat the next day.
When the Dogs Refused to Cooperate
Well, the two dogs had different plans. After I opened both the front and back doors, the pooches decided they hated me. Instead of following any commands, they just sat on the couch barking feverishly as if I were the last person on earth they would allow to care for them.
