Lafayette Parish, LA (December 29, 2025) – The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office has implemented a public comment portal, CALEA Public Comment Portal, as part of our accreditation process, and is seeking engagement from our community.
The purpose of this public comment portal is to leave us comments regarding our agency’s compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status. These comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns.
