The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal is investigating a fatal residential fire in Breaux Bridge that claimed the life of an infant.
At 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, the Breaux Bridge Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1100 block of Poydras Place in Breaux Bridge. A baby died as a result of the fire. The child’s mother sustained burn injuries and two siblings were overcome by smoke inhalation, but survived the fire…
