LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – After a cold and frosty start to the final day of 2025, sunshine will fill the sky and temperatures jump fast. Highs reach the lower 60s during the afternoon hours. This evening will see quiet conditions with clear skies. We will quickly fall into the 50s and then the 40s by midnight. Ringing in 2026 will require jackets with widespread low 40s. The great news is there will be no rain or fog around the area to mess up outdoor plans.
