We’ve been monitoring the data, and the big story is a return to those familiar 70s for highs Monday through Friday. This is thanks to an onshore flow resuming, which will bring warmer, more humid conditions back into our region. We’ll expect temperatures to climb steadily, starting in the low 70s on Monday and reaching the mid-to-upper 70s by Tuesday.
As we push through the middle of the week, most of us will see a mix of clouds and sunshine, with highs staying consistently in the upper 70s. However, we’re going to keep a very close eye on developing weather systems from the west. By Wednesday night or early Thursday, we could start to see some very low-end rain chances pop up as a disturbance moves through Central Texas. This rain threat becomes more pronounced by Friday, with scattered thunderstorms possible in the morning, becoming more widespread as the afternoon progresses. The chance of rain is currently around 60% for Friday, so we’ll be monitoring how those storms organize and impact our area…
