For the second straight game, an encouraging first half gave way to a second-half collapse for UL’s women’s squad and the Ragin’ Cajuns suffered a 55-43 home loss to Texas State on Saturday in the Cajundome.
“We’re doing a lot of the things that lead to losing in losing ways,” Brodhead said. “We’ve got to try to change some of that, you know. I thought they played hard, but we didn’t play very smart.”
The Cajuns are now 1-15 overall and 0-6 in league play, while Texas State improved to 7-8 and 3-2. Next up for UL is a road trip to Arkansas State on Thursday…
