The Lafayette Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board said the fire department did not follow the law when it failed to post an upcoming test on a bulletin board.
The board unanimously agreed with a Lafayette Fire Department dispatcher that the department improperly notified employees about a job advancement test in June 2023.
