Chief of Police in Acadiana Announces Retirement for 2026

(Scott, Louisiana) – A well-known Chief of Police in Acadiana has announced that he will be retiring in 2026.

The Scott Police Department announced on social media that Chief of Police Chad Leger will retire in December, after serving 38 years in law enforcement.
