LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A protest was held in Lafayette in response to the latest deadly shooting by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Minneapolis.
Demonstrators gathered outside the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, January 24, calling for an end to a cooperative agreement that allows deputies to make immigration arrests.
