LAFAYETTE, LA — The Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission (LCVC) is proud to announce that Lafayette will once again serve as host city for the 2026 Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) State Golf Championships, continuing a tradition that has made Acadiana a premier destination for high school championship events for more than a decade.
Scheduled for May 4–5, 2026, the State Golf Championships will bring Louisiana’s top high school golfers, coaches, families, and fans to Lafayette Parish, generating significant economic and community impact while showcasing the area’s championship-caliber golf courses and hospitality.
For more than ten years, LCVC has worked closely with LHSAA and local partners to successfully host the State Golf Championships, providing coordination, lodging support, visitor services, and destination marketing that enhance the overall championship experience.
