The Scott Fire Department rescued a man who was trapped underneath a mini excavator.
Firefighters responded on Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m. to reports of a 57-year-old man trapped under the piece of heavy machinery in the 200 block of Lormand Road, according to an SFD announcement.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to lift the 10,000-pound machine before safely removing the man and providing on-scene medical care. The man was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries…
