Two arrested in Eunice on drug and gun charges

EUNICE, La. (KLFY) — Two people were arrested on multiple drug and gun charges after the St. Landry Parish SWAT was called out this morning, authorities said.

Travis Soileau, 50, and Amy Smith, 47, both of Eunice, were booked into the St. Landry Parish jail.

Soileau is charged with:

  • Possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone
  • Two counts of possession with intent to distribute Xanax
  • Possession with intent to distribute Clonazepam
  • Possession with intent to distribute LSD
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm
  • Two counts of Possession of a Firearm in Presence of CDS
  • Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine

Smith is charged with:

  • Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine
  • Possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone
  • Possession with intent to distribute Xanax
  • Two counts possession with intent to distribute Clonazepam
  • Possession with intent to distribute LSD
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
