Opelousas pair charged in drive-by shooting spree; no injuries reported

OPELOUSAS, La. (NEWS 15) — Two Opelousas men were arrested following a reckless drive-by shooting spree that put lives in danger and led to property damage, according to the Opelousas Police Department.

Deavon Stevenson, 18, is charged with assault by drive-by shooting, illegal use of weapons, and aggravated criminal damage to property (2 counts). Marcus Julian, 19, is charged with assault by drive-by shooting, principal to illegal use of weapons, and aggravated criminal damage to property.
