Frosty overnight, Warmer temperatures arrive Monday

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – After a sunny and cool Sunday, temperatures will drop quickly tonight. Most of the area will be near-freezing by midnight. Overnight lows will remain near-freezing with frost developing by sunrise. Make sure to leave extra time Monday morning to defrost your windshield before your morning commute.

Monday will start out with sunny skies as temperatures jump quickly into the 50s. By the afternoon, clouds will move in as temperatures reach the mid 60s.
