In a Youngsville Municipal Police Civil Service Board meeting last week, a lawyer for Youngsville police Capt. John Davison offered evidence he said showed Youngsville Police Chief JP Broussard committed perjury and recommended impeachment.
During the meeting, Davison, who had been demoted by Broussard, was reinstated to his rank of captain. However, there was no discussion of possible ramications of the impeachment recommendation.
