Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and the Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center (LASCC), will host a low-cost microchip clinic Saturday, Feb. 7.
Set to take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the animal shelter, 410 N. Dugas Rd. This clinic is part of a quarterly initiative aimed at helping pet owners protect their animals through permanent identification, according to a news release
The clinic is open to the public and welcomes both dogs and cats. Microchips will be available for $15 per pet, and the fee includes lifetime registration. LASCC said it will accept cash or credit cards only…
