The University of Louisiana athletic department’s operating deficit grew to $13.2 million in fiscal year 2025, according to the annual state legislative audit.
The department reported a $12.6 million deficit a year earlier.
“Our income was down about $475,000 and our expenses were up about $215,000,” UL Director of Athletics Bryan Maggard said. “Really, it predominantly came through a decrease in revenue.”…
