LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Local artist Ernest Courville is a retired physical education Coach whose artwork now lines the walls of a local coffee shop.
The Opelousas native found he could draw at a young age.
“I draw everyday. Usually not at home, usually in a coffee shop,” Courville said. “And I went to Southern, thought I was going to be an art major, and my father said, ‘Boy, how are you going to make a living doing that.’”…
