Teen connected to Crowley shooting incident turns himself in

CROWLEY, La (KLFY) — A teenager turned himself in to the Crowley Police Department in relation to a shooting incident on Jan. 14, police said.

Benjimon Anderson, 17, has been charged with five counts of attempted homicide, one count of illegal discharge and carrying a weapon within a 1,000 feet of a school zone.

The charges stem from a shooting incident on the outdoor basketball court at the Martin Luther King Center located on 1725 West Hutchinson Ave. where Anderson was allegedly firing multiple shots toward a vehicle parked on the court.
