More spring-like weather is expected later today with highs into the upper 70s under partly sunny skies. Rain chances stay slim, leading to a comfortably cool and quiet evening for parades across the area.
Saturday turns warm and breezy as winds start to gust over 20 mph. Scattered showers are possible too, especially during the afternoon and evening parades within Acadiana but severe weather is not in the forecast until the overnight hours.
A line of strong to severe storms is estimated to move into our area after 10:00 pm on Saturday and will last into the early morning hours of Sunday.
