ACADIA PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — Two fishermen found human remains in Bayou Queue De Tortue in Acadia Parish, according to Sheriff KP Gibson.
He reported the grim discovery was made near LA 13 in southern Acadia Parish on Friday, February 20. The bayou separates Acadia and Vermilion parishes.
Authorities added they believe the remains belong to a female, but that has not been confirmed and the identification is challenging due to the extended time spent in the water…
