National Late Night Cookie Chain Plans Lafayette Debut

A popular late-night dessert chain known for delivering warm cookies into the early morning hours is preparing to open its first Lafayette location.

Insomnia Cookies plans to open a new Downtown Lafayette store at 505 Jefferson Street, first reported by Developing Lafayette. The shop will be located between Hub City Cycles and Teche Drugs Pharmacy, two doors down from Cocodrie Collective, inside the former DBR space.

The brand, which already operates Louisiana locations in Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and New Orleans, is known for its made-to-order cookies, cookie cakes, brownies, and ice cream. Many locations operate until around 1 a.m., with delivery available even later in some markets.
