Pair of Acadiana mothers arrested after allegedly giving meth and other drugs to their children

ACADIA PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — Two Acadiana mothers are facing child cruelty charges in separate cases after allegedly giving meth and other drugs to their children, according to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Monesha Mouton, 32, of Crowley, and Brooke Labouve, 36, of Jennings, were arrested as part of a joint investigation by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Children and Family Services.

Mouton is charged with three counts of cruelty to a juvenile for allegedly giving her three children methamphetamines and cocaine. Labouve faces one count of cruelty to a juvenile for reportedly providing her child with methamphetamines and marijuana…
