A bar planned for downtown Lafayette that drew opposition from the Lafayette Police Department got OK’d Monday.
Lafayette Consolidated Government’s city zoning commission voted 3-0 to issue a conditional use permit to allow the Downtown Daiquiri Bar to open at 522 Jefferson St. in the former Legacy space.
The matter now goes to the city council for final approval…
