At this point, there have been no reports of anyone attempting to use any of these movie prop bills at local businesses, but when it comes to funny money, this isn’t the only problem.

When people aren’t aware the money isn’t real, they scramble to snatch up as much of the “free money” as they can, many times putting themselves in harm’s way and in some cases it causes physical altercations.

According to Lafayette salon Just Us Cuts, something happened the other day involving fake $20 bills that caused major traffic problems and crashes.
